Good Word of the Day: Overwhelmed

Not overwhelmed as in suffocating with the issues of life or feeling like I’m drowning.

But overwhelmed as in standing amazed in the presence of God. I feel that when I stop long enough to enjoy the beauty of creation all around me. I feel that when holding a brand new baby. I feel that when I read God’s Good Word and let those words sink deep into my heart.

When do you feel most overwhelmed by the presence of God?

Of course, I am feeling overwhelmed at the launch of my book, Unseen People.

It’s a busy time through the coming weeks as I help people get a copy of the book into their hands. It’s a big job. But I’m overwhelmed by the support of people who have already helped in so many ways to make this book happen.

And I’m overwhelmed that God would direct my paths to make this book a reality. All praise to the Lord most high!

Good Unseen People

One of my favorite places in the world is right outside my back door… I’ve had many many worship-filled mornings meeting God on my back porch in the cool and quiet with my coffee and my dogs. Only the birds supplying a background concert of morning praise.
