Word of the Week: Grateful
The first thing I think of when I hear the word Grateful is this:
But it’s just August. A few more months until our tables runneth over with yummy food on Thanksgiving day. But, the idea of being thankful is also about being grateful. So I use the word often - Grateful. Because this is my everyday word not linked to a specific season. I am grateful for life, for you, for our Lord. My cup truly runneth over with blessings. I want to buy this coffee cup…. Let me know if you find it. I would be grateful.
Wednesday in THE WORD
“Your word is a lamp to guide me and a light for my path.” Psalm 119:105
We just started the book of Esther in our church reading plan. Love this book. We recently studied this Old Testament treasure in my Sunday adult Bible study group. There are plenty of gems in this short book. One we all know and love is,
“For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance for the Jews will arise from another place, but you and your father’s family will perish. And who knows but that you have come to your royal position for such a time as this?” Esther 4:14 NIV

A GOOD MUSIC VIDEO: We sing this in my church. It’s just so rich and worshipful and GOOD! The Goodness of God. Enjoy!
A GOOD BOOK: A Spacious Life: Trading Hustle and Hurry for the Goodness of Limits. I listed this last week but the link was broken. Let’s try this again. A Spacious Life
A GOOD PODCAST: The second episode from She Is Safe’s new podcast: From Bondage to Freedom. I am familiar with this story from my time in Indonesia. Take a few minutes to listen and share. From Bondage to Freedom
