My favorite book to read over and over is, well, no the Bible... its *cough cough* (whispers) Harry Potter. Its imaginative, cozy, fun, the characters and plots are fantastic, and the unloved orphaned hero gains loving friends/family and a home.
My favorite way to study the Bible is with the Daily Bread, because that way I have some kind of context ahead of time when I read the suggested passage. So, it makes more sense to me.
Lots of folks gravitate to the characters and storylines of Harry Potter for all the reasons you mentioned. Fiction can be a powerful force! And there is nothing like daily time in Gods Word and a foundational devotional guide.
Thanks for sharing, friend! Grateful for your thoughts and insights!
Congratulations on your book, as an author, I know the excitement of holding your book in your hands. There is no feeling like it! May God bless it and all who read it!
Thank you, Kate. Fellow authors definitely know the feeling. And such a mix of emotions. That is my prayer tooβ that it gets into the hands of those who need to read the message and it will be blessing. And mostly, that it honors God.
Congratulations and well done. It's been a labor of love and hope. I remember that feeling when I saw Good Night Duncan in hard cover and print. Your book will bless all who read it. I have pre-ordered my copy.
Congratulations on your book release!
Thank you, Lynette! Iβm excited and grateful!
